Meet the cast of Love Island Australia
Sydney, New South Wales
Raised outside of Penrith, Austen has an easy charm that is combined with a lot of class and personality.
Of Chilean and Maltese descent, she looks up to her grandfather, who came to Australia from Malta and worked hard to succeed in life. He has excelled in sports throughout his life, including soccer where he plays at the highest level.
Austen is one proud mama's boy. When he was younger, he was punished if he left home without cologne.
She wears a pearl necklace similar to that of one of her fashion idols, singer Harry Styles. Austen is extremely popular with the ladies when she goes out and has no problem picking up, she just hasn't found 'the one'. He works as a car painter, a job that she loves. With equally stunning eyes and a smile that lights up any room, Austen is an instant target for girls.
Sydney, New South Wales
Our Kiwi resident at the Village, Mitchell (Mitch) recently moved to Sydney from Auckland full-time.
Mitch struck gold while studying in New Zealand to become a personal trainer. He met three women who would become long-time clients of PT. He no longer has those clients after making the decision to move across the ditch to Sydney. That's when the opportunity for Love Island Australia arose, and it couldn't have come at a better time.
Described as a good-hearted New Zealand prankster, Mitchell is ready to move into the Love Island mansion. He was in a serious relationship with a girl who broke his heart. He was in love with her, but she did not love him. He admits that he has played the field, but is ready to settle down.
Originally from the small town of Longford, near Sale in Victorian country, Jordan recently moved to the Gold Coast and hasn't looked back.
He moved after an eight-year relationship with his high school sweetheart ended a few years ago. He and his girlfriend have been together since they were 14 years old.
Jordan wanted to explore life, so he moved to the Gold Coast with friends. He hopes the Love Island Australia experience will be an extension of that, doing new things and being adventurous. Jordan is an electrician and currently works as a FIFO worker, which he loves.
His trademark mullet isn't going anywhere, officially the first mullet at the Love Island Australia mansion of the show's four seasons. Jordan is a very talented AFL footballer who has played in one of Sale's top domestic leagues. He looks forward to restarting the AFL on the Gold Coast once this amazing experience ends on Love Island Australia.
real estate agent
Sydney, New South Wales
Born and raised in Sydney, Conor went to school in Maroubra, in the eastern suburbs of Sydney. At 19, he got a job at a family real estate company and hasn't looked back.
He is one of the best real estate agents in Sydney's east and south coast regions, including the hotspot of Coogee. An alpha male, Conor is ambitious, knows what he wants and isn't afraid to speak his mind.
It will definitely make a splash in the village, both with the girls and the boys. He takes his fitness very seriously, inspired by his father, who has always been in great shape.
Conor believes that he has never been in love and wanted to do something totally unique like Love Island Australia to find it. One of the reasons why he wanted to participate in the show is also to get him out of his comfort zone.
Mental Health Associate
Brains, strength and beauty could be three words to describe Andre, who was born and raised in Perth. He has a degree in psychology and works as a psychotherapist. Andre is another islander who is one of the best footballers in the AFL.
He had a birth injury to his shoulder and was prohibited from playing contact sports.
When he was about 12 years old, he convinced his mother to let him try out for the AFL and it was the best thing that ever happened to him. Andre has a very modern fashion style and an eye-catching appearance that will catch everyone's eyes when he enters the villa.
He is also good friends with one of the islanders from last year, Noah Hura, who is also from Perth and recommended Andre to be on the show.
PT / pool boy
Big personality, mixed with mischief, is one way to describe Callum. The girls will drool over his thick Welsh accent, and he admits that she will catch him, as she likes to say, "a bird of prey."
Working as a pool boy at a top Brisbane hotel, Callum is used to entertaining VIPs and unleashing his charm.
During the week he also works as a personal trainer and has some regular clients. He admits that he has maximum playboy energy when he enters the mansion. He's sure to have a memorable performance.
Will she be able to contain that and really meet someone special who can embrace her strong outgoing personality? Girls, boys and Australian audiences alike will fall in love with the hilarious Welshman.
Security Guard / Tik Tok Rapper
At 22 years old, Tak has already achieved a lot and done a lot with his life. Born in Zimbabwe, he came to Australia as a child after his parents emigrated to Australia to become a nurse and work their way up the hospital system.
Tak grew up in Wagga Wagga where he became a football champion. He was selected for the AFL youth games for both Brisbane Lions and Greater Western Sydney, but quit the game after losing love for him.
He spent some time becoming a helicopter pilot for the Australian Army before realizing it wasn't for him. Instead, he has veered off into music and performs under the name "Bravo 2 Real."
Tak isn't afraid to speak his mind, he's a great speaker and could potentially ruffle some feathers in the mansion. He has strong morals and will stick with them in the mansion. This means that he sometimes he is not afraid to call the boys, face or girls behind his back.
At 155cm or 5ft, the 1 Claudia is your ultimate pocket rocket and it's simply stunning.
Claudia was born and raised in Adelaide, has Sicilian roots and lives with her family. Claudia is number 1 on Love Island, and that is herself and her search for love.
She's not dumb and doesn't litter and is only too happy to break up with anyone, including girlfriends, if they treat her badly.
The drama, she says, follows her everywhere. Despite being ahead of the men in Adelaide, she still has many male friends.
She works as a medical secretary, but also acts in parallel. She would love to act more and with her strong and bubbly personality, she has some serious star qualities. The boys will fall in love with Claudia as soon as she enters the villa.
Radio media coordinator
Stella is the girl next door on Love Island Australia. She is passionate about working as a media coordinator in the radio industry in Brisbane.
Stella started out on her radio station's street promotion team before being promoted. Stella is naturally curly and will accept that in the villa.
Her heart broke at the age of 18 when she fell in love with a man from Colorado, USA. Stella doesn't want a boy who is too clingy, but an intelligent, funny and above all nice man.
He just finished his Bachelor of Arts majoring in Communications, Film and Television. She is ambitious and loves her radio career and sees a real future in it.
Customer service representative in the lottery industry.
When Holly walks into the room, it's impossible to miss her. Loud, confident, funny and with an opinion, she'll cause a stir in the mansion.
Holly moved to Australia's Sunshine Coast from the UK at the age of 11 with her family.
His mother chose a location on the map of Australia and they packed up everything on a whim. Holly's day job is a customer service representative in the lottery industry, she loves to chat and has no filter.
Holly loves to be the center of attention and some of her countrymen may like that, others may not.
She says that she is a man's girl and that she has many male friends. Our fabulous British islander wants a man who can embrace everything about her, including her unbridled confidence.
Sydney, New South Wales
Funny with an infectious laugh, Jessica is a great find for our cast of Love Island Australia.
Jessica is based in Western Sydney, where she lives with her family, and is of Italian and Filipino descent.
She is a proud gamer and spends her weekends in front of the TV playing video games instead of in a nightclub.
Smart and fiery, Jessica tells it like it is and isn't afraid to speak her mind.
The youngest islander in the village, but she definitely won't be the calmest. Layla got her start in show business after attending secondary school at Melbourne's Patrick School of the Arts, majoring in dance.
She hopes to make a career out of dancing. Layla knows what she wants and she is not afraid to speak her mind and she will bring that to the village.
Some of the girls will love them, some will not. At 20, she wasn't really in a relationship, but she once fell in love with her best friend's boyfriend and secretly dated him for a month.
With a dry sense of humor and directness, he could be the center of drama with both girls and boys, which he wouldn't mind.
Layla lives with her parents in Essendon, a suburb of Melbourne. She had a part-time job at one of Melbourne's trendiest bars for the past year.
Phoebe is playing
Sydney, New South Wales
Phoebe grew up on a farm outside of Ballarat in Victoria and now calls Bondi in Sydney home.
The relaxing and glamorous atmosphere of the beach is her thing, she works in a boutique in Bondi while studying fashion. He hopes to somehow make it in the fashion industry, perhaps as a stylist.
Phoebe has had a very special boy in the past, and she's not afraid to admit it. She has dated many AFL football players. She thinks that Sydney footballers are nicer than Melbourne footballers.
Phoebe also likes fit men with blonde hair if she had to pick one physical attribute. However, she is willing to change her dating habits at the mansion and settle for someone other than a footballer.
But with very good players in the line-up, it will be interesting to see what happens. In terms of friendship, Phoebe says that she has more male friends than female friends.
