The manager of the Weston Hotel at 801 Pine St. He told police that one of his employees found a 9mm Glock 45 wrapped in a plastic bag in an ice machine on the 10th floor. The Glock was found to contain an extended 9mm x23 magazine. Police determined the firearm was stolen from East Ridge and brought from the NCIC. Police shipped the stolen firearms, magazines and ammunition to the Chattanooga Property Department. The owner of the stolen firearm was advised to contact the Chattanooga Property Department to retrieve the firearm.

Police were called to Veterans Way, where a woman said she and her boyfriend got into a heated argument. She called the police but he left before the police arrived.

During the patrol, the officer noticed a man sitting on the back porch/loading dock at 5114 Hixson Pike, an address where officers specifically directed officers to enter the property after the lockdown. The officer spoke to the man, who said he was just resting. The officer informed him that the company had requested that no one be on the premises unless they were engaged in their business. He agreed to go with no problem.

Police were called to W. 47th Street where a man and woman were having a verbal argument over car keys. Officials separated them to avoid further conflict. The woman then gave the man the car keys and he drove off.

An anonymous caller reported a black man sitting at the door of Christian Brothers Automotive at 5595 Hixson Pike. The caller said the man told him the police had to pick him up. Upon arrival, officers spoke to a man posing outside the company's front door. He said he wanted to go to the hospital, but when the police officer asked him what his urgent condition was, he told the police to make amends. The officer told the man they would not lie to the emergency services on his behalf and that he must leave the property. He agreed and left with no problems.

A woman called the police and reported two homeless people sleeping outside her doctor's office at 5109 Brainerd Road. Police spoke to a man and a woman and told them to pack up and leave the premises as the property owner had trespassed on their property. They left without incident.

A shopkeeper at 5210 Brainerd Road told police a man entered and stole a cigarette. Police arrested the man and took him to the store, where he was checked for search warrants. The owner said he did not want to pursue criminal prosecution but wanted the man to be criminally trespassing on his property. The police told the man that he would be arrested if he returned to the property.

A man on Montview Drive told police his trailer was stolen in June. He said there was severe hail damage on the RV's roof. The camper was listed with the NCIC.

The woman told police she wanted to report possible credit card fraud. He professionally inspects homes throughout the state of Tennessee. She had been contacted by email in connection with an inspection of a house on Hamill Road. The suspects asked if they could transfer approximately $5,025 to her account via credit card so that she could transfer it to another account. The woman asked the police if she should continue to communicate through this fake email in order to apprehend the suspect(s). The police asked the woman to stop all communication with the fake email address, which was believed to be from abroad. There are currently no financial losses, the woman only asked about this matter.

A man from Wilcox Boulevard escorted an officer around the property and saw three vehicles at the scene of the accident, which appeared to have been damaged by decorative boulders. Damaged vehicles include the Mercury Montego, Toyota Tacoma and Kia Sorrento. There is currently no victim who can tie themselves to the vehicles to report genuine vandalism, but this report serves as documentation in case they wish to report it in the future.

A man on Passenger Street told police someone stole his laundry basket. The man said the basket was dark blue and was last seen around noon.

CEO of DoubleTree, 2232 Center St. wanted someone to break into the property. Police spoke to the man and told him he had committed a crime. He left the premises.

The officer was sitting at 7703 Lee Hwy and saw a gold Honda Accord driving north on Lee Hwy. The driver had his hat turned toward the officer, obscuring his face. About three minutes later, the same vehicle passed officers again, with the driver's cap again facing the officer, obscuring his face. The officer noticed this suspicious behavior, got behind the Honda and initiated a traffic stop at 3700 Jenkins Road for expired license plates. As the officer approached the driver's door, the driver rolled up the window so that there was still a small gap. The officer opened the driver's door and asked the man to get out. The officers stopped him due to the driver's behavior. The officer took the man through the NCIC and found that he had a valid driver's license. He was extremely argumentative and appeared hostile to the police. When the officer pulled the man out of the handcuffs, the man stated that the officer had been rude. The officer noted that no force was used.

The man told police he was going to 13th StreetTAvenue and a local white man (reportedly named Steve Petty) approached just as he was passing, holding a gun and calling the man several names. He knew a man from his brother who had dated him. The man lives with his mother. He said it was the man's ongoing problem. When asked why the man was still doing his best to get past 13th Avenue, he felt offended by the question and couldn't give a reasonable answer. The officer noted that they had dealt with the man on a number of occasions throughout his CPD career and recounted notoriously bizarre incidents that were later found to be untrue. The officer went to the 13th Avenue address and tried to speak to Steve Petty. The officer spoke to the man in the apartment, who showed his ID. and said he didn't know anyone named Steve Petty and that he had lived there for several years.

An Edith Lane man told police he went to Alabama for work. When he was out of town, his wife had used up all the credit in his account, so he couldn't book any more days at the hotel. The man went home to confront her because she didn't answer the phone or put the money back into her account. They had an argument and his wife said he had to get out or he would call people to get him out. The man said the police had been there in the past and never listened to his side of the story, which is why they took him to jail. He calls early because she said to call the police to get him out of the house. He said he didn't touch her or do anything other than tell her she had a speech impediment.

Police spoke to the owner of one of the apartment buildings on 15th Avenue. The man indicated that he wanted to make a report about people other than his tenants throwing rubbish in the bin he makes available to his tenants. The man said he tried to contact the owners of the other property down the road but to no avail. He told police he would continue trying to contact the owners and put cameras on his property.

A Chateau Lane woman told police she was annoyed by the constant noise from the apartments around her, particularly the apartment above. She gave police the names of two tenants who lived there. Since no noise was heard during the police operation, no contact was made. If necessary, a notice of the woman's file was created in the office.

Police found an unoccupied gray Oldsmobile at 1800 Cleveland Avenue. During the review of the vehicle information, the registered owner arrived and reported that his daughter owned the car and was having problems with it. He managed to start the vehicle and get it off the road.

An employee at 1905 Gunbarrel Road told police the man stole the beer and drove off in a black Audi with two other people. The suspect was a black man in his 30s wearing a black shirt with a yellow front and dreadlocks pulled up in a bun.

The woman called police and said that three hours earlier, a truck swerved under an overpass at Belvoir Avenue and S. Terrace and crashed into her vehicle. The officer asked the woman why she didn't call the police to report the hit-and-run accident, to which she replied that she had something to take care of.
